In reaction to the election of Donald Trump as the next US president, wife of NPP Vice-Presidential candidate Samira Bawumia says the call for change has resonated with Americans.
She was in the Joy FM studio for an interview when news broke that the Republican candidate has been confirmed winner of the 2016 presidential elections.
Anxious to soak in part of the historic election result, Samira Bawumia dashed into myjoyonline to listen to Donald Trump deliver his victory speech.
Samira would later say on Joy FM's Super Morning SHow that the verdict shows that Americans feel they have had enough of the Democrats who have been in the White House for eight years.
Of course that is pretty much the same language she has been hammering on while on the NPP campaign trail. The wife of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stressed that eight years of the NDC government is enough.
She has been exciting NPP supporters with sharp jabs at the NDC and has become a rising star on the campaign trail.
Here watching Donald Trump speak, she probably can't help visualise an NPP victory come December 7
