More Ghanaians are expected to arrive home from Libya today.
So far about 1,390 nationals have been evacuated and brought home safely on chartered flights.
The evacuation has become urgent following the crisis in that country with African nationals - suspected to be mercenaries and working for the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi – targeted and attacked.
Deputy Information minister Baba Jamal told Joy News thousands more are expected to be flown in on a daily basis.
He assured the evacuation will continue until all Ghanaians have arrived home.
