Deputy Water Resources, Works and Housing Minister, Dr. Hannah Bissiw has refuted Daily Guide's publication that she has accused her boss, Alban Bagbin, Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing for hiring assassins to kill her.
The Daily Guide in its March 9, 2011 edition has the headline We’ll Kill You! Bissiw claims Bagbin boys after her.
According to the report, Dr. Hannah Bissiw is pointing accusing fingers at Hon. Bagbin for being behind alleged threats to kill her should the Nadowli West MP lose his ministerial appointment.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Dr. Bissiw explained that even though she received threatening mobile phone calls from anonymous persons, she never accused honourable Bagbin of being behind it.
According to her, the reportage by the Daily Guide is just a ploy to sell their paper, adding, the working relationship between herself and her boss is cordial.
The Deputy Works and Housing Minister noted that some people have also taken advantage of speculations in the media about the poor working relationships between her and the Minister to create mischief.
Dr. Hannah Bissiw is alleged to being behind the removal from office of former Works and Housing Minister Albert Abongo amidst rumours that she replaced his office lock.
