Ghana boxer Emmanuel 'Game Boy' Tagoe defeated South African Mzonke Fana by a unanimous decision to win the vacant IBO Lightweight Title.
In the first major bout at the newly built Trust Emporium, all three judges scored the bout 120-106, 120-106 , 120-106 in favor of Emmanuel Tagoe.

Gameboy, who is known for his special antics in the ring, had promised to stop his opponent in the third round but was unable to live to his word as his experienced South African showed great resilience and determination throughout the bout.
Gameboy is still undefeated in his career while this was Fana’s 11th career defeat.
