Father of WBO International Super Bantam Weight Champion Isaac Dogbe has turned down offer from the World Boxing Organisation for his son to fight for World title.
Dogbe earned the chance to have shot at World title fight following victory over the weekend against Julian Aristule. The promising Boxer handed Aristule a seventh round knockout.
However, Paul Dogbe who also doubles as manager, tells Joy Sports his son is not ready.
‘’He did a great Job, beating Aristule but I was not impressed.’’
‘’The WBO asked me if we are ready for the World title shot and I said No because he has to impress me before i sanction a title bout’’
‘’Four years now Dogbe has been fighting Feather weight since he’s moved weight we have to make sure he is very comfortable’’
