A gender advocate is seeking justice for a young woman who was sexually molested for alleged acts of thievery.Angela Dwamena Aboagye told Joy News the snail-pace of investigation into the incident is worrying.Amina Mohammed was seized by some students of the Mensah Sarbah Hall of the University of Ghana who inserted their fingers repeatedly and violently into her vagina accusing her of stealing their mobile phones and laptops.The incident was captured on video and circulated on the internet, provoking a groundswell of criticism.Ten days after the incident, the perpetrators are yet to be identified and punished. The victim though, has been sent to the hospital for care.Angela Aboagye maintains the situation is unacceptable and accused the police institution of not taking such investigations seriously.She said Amina Mohammed deserves justice for the treatment meted out to her and urged the police to fast-track investigations into the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
