A 50 year-old man has been remanded in police custody for allegedly possessing whitish substance suspected to be cocaine.
Mohammed Issah's plea was not taken and he will appear before the court again on July 27.
The exhibits seized from him have been taken to Accra for testing.
Police Chief Inspector Wilfred Salia, prosecuting told the court, presided over by R.M. Kugyapwah, that on July 8 this year at 1400 hours, the Striking Force Unit of the police acting upon a tip-off went to house number plot 108 at Ashtown in Kumasi where accused resides.
He said Issah was caught "red-handed" wrapping the whitish substance suspected to be crack cocaine and a further search also revealed 30 whitish rocky substances and three plain substances.
