The National House of Chiefs is meeting in the Asante Region to deliberate on issues affecting chieftaincy in the country.
Luv FM’s Elton John Brobbey reported that the President of the National House of Chiefs, Naa Professor John Nabila has expressed utter dismay at the state of affairs in the Ga Mantse issue.
Naa Prof. Nabila who also a member of the Council of State believes that if government gave the body adequate funding in compiling and the codification of customary laws and lines of succession as mandated by the 1992 constitution, these disputes would have been a thing of the past.
He has therefore appealed to the various factions within the Ga state to put a stop to the confusion in the region as the House go on to find a lasting solution to the impasse.
