The Ashaiman Municipal Education Directorate in conjunction with the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly is organizing its Maiden Best Teacher/Worker Awards Ceremony on the 26th July 2011, at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Ashaiman, on the theme “TEACHER MOTIVATION, A NECESSITY FOR QUALITY EDUCATION.” In a statement released on Monday the award is intended to appreciate and boost the morale of hard working teachers/workers and encourage them to give out their best to enhance quality teaching and learning in schools within the area. The Municipal Education Directorate would be awarding 28 Teachers/Educational workers from both the first and second cycle schools within the Ashaiman Municipality and would cover the 2010 and 2011 academic years.
