Unidentified people are said to have set fire in the offices of a private security firm, Ghanata Security in Obuase, Joy News report.The incident followed reports that an employee of Ghanata Security allegedly shot a small scale miner who was reportedly mining on the concession of Anglogold Ashanti Ltd.Media reports say the man died latter after sustaining varying degree of injuries.Speaking on Joy Midday News on Wednesday, the Obuase Municipal Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Matthew Antwi, said police in Obuase are making rigorous investigations into the matter to bring the culprits to book.According to ASP Antwi, police believe the incident has a link with the shooting incidence. “The wooden structured offices of the Security Agency had been set ablaze,” he added.ASP Matthew Antwi, said tension is released in the town as police has warned that any one who takes the law into his hands would be penalised.
