Ghanaian music duo, Ruff N Smooth made up of Ricky Nana Agyeman (Bullet) and Clement Baafo Foh (Ahkan), has chalked up another success in their music career, having been adjudged Most Promising African Artiste(s) at the 1st Annual African Entertainment Awards Canada (AEAC) held in Toronto, Canada.
The awards, which is the brainchild of Stash House Entertainment, founded by one of Nigeria’s fast-emerging entrepreneurs, Kunle Adekale seeks to award African entertainment personalities and outfits in Canada and abroad. It was also supported by Microbel Entertainment.
It showcases the rich culture of African art and entertainment and also celebrates cutting edge developments and forward thinkers who are shaping the future of African entertainment industry.
The event was held on Saturday September 10 at the popular Sandra Faire & Ivan Fecan Theater at York University in Toronto, Canada and was attended by several African entertainment personalities based in North America and Africa with special representation from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Egypt and Ghana.
This will be the group’s third international award after winning Ghana Music Group of the Year category at the Citi People Entertainment Awards in Lagos, Nigeria and the B2G Awards in Amsterdam, Netherlands for Best African Performance.
