New kid on the block, Stay Jay known in real life as William Kojo Johnson is set to hold his first ever performance outside the shores of Ghana at two international shows coming up in London and Holland.
Stay Jay is currently the talk of town with his smash hits, Sue, Sha She Wowo and Yenko Nkoaa which are receiving massive plays at joints and on radio across the length and breadth of the country.
He has been billed to perform at the Hiplife and Afrobeat Festival on September 30 in London and the Miss Ghana's Queen pageant in Amsterdam, Holland on October 15.
The London event comes off at the Indigo 02 Arena, alongside other renowned Ghanaian acts like Tiffany, Atumpan, Ruff N Smooth, Castro, Kwabena Kwabena and some UK artistes.
The Miss Ghana's Queen pageant powered by Shemamie International comes off at the CEC Building-Bijlmedreef near Kandelaar. It has Stay Jay and Tiffany as the only artistes on the bill for the night.
Excited Stay Jay told Myjoyonline.com in an interview that, “It has been a dream come true and I thank God Almighty,” promising his fans to, “to expect a blast from Stay Jay”.
The Tema-based rapper, who has been billed to perform at the Vodafone 020 Live concert Tuesday, said he will be leaving for London after the concert. He is expected back in Ghana after the London performance before heading to Holland for the second.
The versatile Stay Jay although started music nine years ago bounced onto the commercial music scene in 2010. He has an album, Repetition to his credit and is currently making preparations towards releasing a second onto the market.
He has also been invited to attend the Black Friday after party in the US in November this year.
