Marriage Counselor, Mrs. Catherine Oniwioduokit has urged marriage couples to maximise the full benefits of sex.
She said on on Joy FM's Super Morning Show Friday, “Sex wasn’t meant for procreation but procreation require sex”. Beyond child bearing she said, love-making “rejuvenates marriage”.
The comment, is a prelude to a seminar on building lasting marriages which comes off at the Joy FM’s Beauty and Bridal Fair at the Accra International Conference Center.
The discussion on Saturday July 1, is expected to feature seasoned marriage counselors including Rev. Samuel Kisseado and Rev. Mrs. Catherine Oniwioduokit.
Contributing to the role of sex in marriages, the Rev. Minister who has been married for 25 years showered adjectives on the intimate experience.
“Sex is good, sex is fantastic and sex is sweet”
To make the best of it, she urged married couples to open up about what makes them tick in bed. Rev. Mrs. Catherine Oniwioduokit explained that “sex is best when two people are giving not getting.”
She explained that when couples are focused on what they are getting, they put no efforts into making the other partner enjoy the experience.
Placing emphasis on quality sex she advised couples to focus on pleasing the other and not just themselves.
She further stated that quality in the intimacy of a couple, increases maturity and patience in a marriage.
