Uriah Asante could be out for two months after landing awkwardly in a tackle on Sunday, according to Hearts officials. After the game, assistant coach Shaibu Tanko told SuperSport.com that the teenager was a victim of a poor tackle.“Uriah was tackled from behind several times and on the third occasion he had an injury. It looks like his ankle.”Up to the point he was stretchered off, the player had been dictating play in Hearts’ midfield and assisting Mahatma Otoo in giving Kotoko’s defence problems. He was also particularly effective against Abdul Rahman at left-back.“It was sad that we lost Uriah,” coach Nebojsa Vucicevic said. “I think he may be out for two months. That is a big problem because he is a good player for us.”The player was taken to the hospital for further treatment, where results of the tests are yet to be ascertained.Hearts could only draw goalless with Kotoko in the much-anticipated fixture and the Serbian felt the result was fine.“I think we have a good game. We drew here but we could have won. But it is fine. Now we look forward.”Hearts next game is in the north against Wa All Stars at the weekend.
