President and bank roller of Premier League Club, Kpando Hearts of Lions FC Victor Akpene Ahiakpor has denied rumours that his club has hired the services of Coach Ken August as successor to coach Paa Kwasi Fabian following Fabian's national team coaching job appointment.
Speaking on Asempa FM, he made it clear that he didn’t know where those reports came from because there has no one has taken such a decision.
”we have spoken to a few coaches about the job but Ken August is not one of them”. he told Asempa FM.
The Kpando based premier league side currently lies 7th on the league table with 11 points and Mr Ahiakpor believes his side will get better from match to match.
When asked whether the exit of former CEO Despond Frimpong Manso, also known as “cockroach’, has affected the club in anyway, he said, Hearts of Lions can survive without a CEO because it used to be so before ‘cockroach”.
