One of the fastest growing multinational Insurance company in Ghana, Saham Life Insurance Limited, a subsidiary of the Saham Group has undertaken a free medical screening for traders in the Kantamanto Market.
The two-day exercise which started Thursday drew traders from the market who were screened by health officials from the Adabraka Polyclinic.
And according to the health experts, high blood pressure ran through most of their checks and have accordingly advised victims on what to do to normalize the situation.
Chief Marketing Officer of Saham Life Insurance Ghana Limited Fred Boakye said, “we believe in the total wellbeing of Ghanaians, because if Ghanaians are healthy, it boosts productivity, if our customers are healthy it boost our business, hence this gesture.
“It forms part of our corporate social responsibility and we are not doing it for only our clients. From here, we will move to Metro Mass Transport and other places. It is always good to know your health status, it guides and helps in checking avoidable ailments,” he added.
