Premier league side Wassaman United has asked twelve players to leave the team for performing poorly in the club’s debut season in the premier league.
The Sekondi based team has been woeful, winning just two and losing nine of their first twelve matches of the season.
The poor run leaves the newly promoted side in bottom place with 7 points from a possible 36.
The chief executive officer of the club Kinsley Baidoo in an interview with Joy Sports noted that, their decision of putting twelve of their regular players on transfer is as a result of their lack of commitment to the club.
“Some of the players are not committed, we have done our own investigations and we have announced to those players to depart from the club”. Said Baidoo
Wassaman are set to sign new players before the second transfer window closes next year.
