Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah says he is geared up for the Africa cup of nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea later this month.
The 20 year old since his impressive display at the world under 20 youth tournament in 2009 has been a regular member of the black stars team in all major tournaments.
The France based defender has indicated that, he is looking forward to a great tournament.
“My colleagues are ready, I’m ready and we looking forward to a good tournament and we hope to clinch the title”. He told Joy Sports
The Black Stars will depart from Ghana on Saturday to South Africa to finalize preparations for the event.
In a related development, Jonathan Mensah will be playing under a new technical director in the person of Pablo Correa at Evian Thonon Gaillard after the African Cup of Nations. Pablo Correa replaces Bernard Casoni a member of the Marseille squad that beat AC Milan in the 1993 Champions League final.
