Ghana legend Abedi Pele says his club FC Nania will draw positive lessons from their early exit from the FA Cup.
FC Nania stunned the whole nation by winning the FA cup last season after beating the likes of Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea.
The first division tier was unable to defend the title after being subjected to a first round elimination by Accra Great Olympics.
Abedi Pele who doubles as the head coach and owner of the club believes his side has got the needed reality check ahead of their campaign in the African confederations cup this year.
“Is good sometimes to lose to realize that you are beatable and then check out on your weaknesses to work hard”. He told Joy Sports
“That also gives us the opportunity to focus on the on the tournaments ahead of us this year”
FC Nania will host FC sequence of Guinea in the preliminary round qualifier of the CAF Confederations cup on February 19 in Accra.
