Assistant Coach for the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, Akwasi Appiah says the final squad for preparations for the Nations Cup will make country proud.The coach admitted the furore that greeted the squad when the technical team headed by Coach Goran Plavi Stevanovic released the list and still maintains the technical team did a good job with the selectionSpeaking on Asempa Fm’s Sports Morning Show on Wednesday, Coach Akwasi Appiah said the technical team takes responsibility for everything that happens to the team in terms of the technical direction and so would not put the selection of the players solely at the door step of the coach since it has always been a collective responsibility.The Black Stars are due to start camping on the 7th January, 2011 in South Africa and will be playing two friendly games on the 12th and 15th January, 2011 with Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana of South Africa respectively.The Ghana is in Group D alongside Botswana, Mali and Guinea. Ghana’s opener is against Botswana on 24th January at the Stade de Franceville
