Aduana Stars winger Bernard “ DADA ‘’ Don Bortey is very optimistic he will play for the Black Stars again before he retires from active football.The former Ghapoha and Hearts of Oak player is back to his current club Aduana stars after a season-long loan deal with Vietnamese side Song Lam Nghe An and hopes to feature in the Glo premier league fixture against Kotoko on Sunday.Speaking on Asempa fm’s evening sports show, sports night on Thursday, he said he is still young and has a lot to offer his nation Ghana and that, the year 2012 is the turning point for him the “humble lion”.The 28 year old played a part in the black stars qualification to its first ever world cup in 2006 but couldn’t make it to the tournament and has since then been out of the team.“My colleagues I started playing colts with are still playing active football, so why can’t I?, I believe I still have the energy to play and surely I will don the Black Stars jersey before I retire”, he said.
