A Hohoe Circuit Court has granted a mason from Bumbulla near Nkonya in the Jasikan District a GH¢3,000 bail with a surety to be justified for allegedly defiling a 14-year old student.
He pleaded not guilty and was ordered to report weekly to the Kpando Police.
Gefia would re-appear on Tuesday, September 4.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Kofi Frimpong told the court presided over by Mr Samuel Sarpong-Appiah that Gefia was caught in the act on June 15, when the victim was traced to the accused's room at about 2030 hours.
He said Gefia managed to flee but was later arrested and sent to the police station for investigations.
The prosecution said a medical report issued from Margaret Marquart Hospital at Kpando proved that the victim had been defiled.Source: GNA
