Three people have been confirmed dead after their bedroom apartment in Dansoman was set ablaze Friday.Rosemond Allotey and her two children were asleep when the incident occurred.Family members of the deceased persons claim the attack was orchestrated by one Kofi who is accusing the brother of Rosemond Allotey of snatching his (Kofi) girlfriend.Joy News’ Beatrice Adu visited the scene of the arson attack and reports of wailing by family members.The three bedroom house has been turned into a landfill with properties of the deceased reduced to ashes.The wall has inscriptions some of which read: “We can kill you people now,” “I swear Nii is a dead person,” “This is the last warning.”A family member of the deceased told Adu the arsonist, whose name he mentioned only as Kofi attempted to burn the house three months ago but nobody got hurt then.According to him, the rest of the family members are living in fear of further attacks and called on the police to protect them.The Dansoman police have confirmed the incident but said the arsonist is on the run.The Divisional police commander ACP Paul Awuni said all efforts are being made to apprehend the suspect.
