The chiefs and people of Avenor and Ave Traditional areas in the Volta Region have honoured the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and MP for the area, Hon Doe Adjaho.According to the people the honour is as a result of his contribution to the development of the two traditional areas as well as his elevation to the office of 1st Deputy Speaker.The warlord of Avenor, Torgbi Aklime Adifu IV, said the Mp has supported the communities through scholarships to needy students, supply of electricity, the provision of potable water and spearheading the construction of some roads in the Avenor Ave constituency.The Awoemefia, Torgbi Sri handed a Golden Medal of the Anlo State to Hon Doe Adjaho.On her part, the speaker of Parliament, Madam Joyce Bamford Addo urged the youth to be respectful and emulate the humility demonstrated so far by her deputy.There were also presentations from Old Boys of Accra Academy, the parliamentary staff as well as from MPs.
