His mission is to name, shame and jail but he is not a policeman or a judge.
He is just an ordinary journalist who risks his life under difficult circumstances to expose politicians, business men, law enforcers and even pastors to make the world and his country Ghana a better place.
Won the journalist of the year, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, is fast becoming, if not already, a collosus in investigative journalism the world over.
He took his turn on Bola Ray's Personality Profile segment on Drive Time on Joy and was at his mystical best.
His entry and exit into the studios of Joy FM and his appearance encapsulated his life-long struggle as a journalist with a mission to right the wrongs of society.
Grew up in the barracks; psyched up by the Vandals doctrines and purged of fear by a man-Kweku Baako Jnr, an iron curtain journalist- who he so much reveres.
Through an influential uncle, Dr. Ibn Chambas who was then a deputy Education Minister, Anas had the opportunity as a young journalist in 1998 to work in the most respected Daily Graphic Newspaper, Ghanaian Times but his choice was the relatively unknown Crusading Guide newspaper, whose editor Kweku Baako Jnr had just been released from prison.
He was considered a mole in his new office, graduated into a car reporter and is now an international investigative journalist acknowledged by many world leaders.
His first shot at investigative journalist was a story about bribe collecting policemen.
Has he a girl friend? Well only the Vandals will understand whether or not he has.
