The Kumasi office of the Multimedia Group Limited has organised a medical screening for about 100 of its staff.
A new year, a new bill of health was the agenda for management and so it was as staff spent the day moving from table to table to undergo series of medical examinations.
It follows a similar exercise held in the Accra office of the group a fortnight ago.
Members of Islamic Medical Association of Ghana (IMAGH), a not for profit organisation took staff through vigorous examinations which included but not limited to , blood pressure, Cholesterol measurements, Diabetes, among others.
Then staff of Luv and Nhyira FM went through Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and Cholesterol screening.
Dr. Samed Tanko, a Consultant Cardiologist at the National Cardiothoracic Centre in Korle Bu led the IMAGH team which also included medical officers, general and emergency nurses, pharmacists, biomedical scientists, dieticians and clinical psychologists from health facilities across Ghana.
The IMAGH team also provided counselling services on healthy lives styles to staff based on their health needs.
