Unconfirmed information reaching Myjoyonline.com is that, two of the world’s biggest musical acts, Jamaican-born American singer Sean Kingston and singer, songwriter, Keri Hilson will be storming Ghana to headline a major concert.
Although information on the concert is sketchy, sources say the concert will be staged before the middle of this year possibly at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre.
Sources say Imajin Advertising, organizers of the Legends and Legacy Ball, an annual event aimed at celebrating and honoring music legends in Ghana is behind the Sean Kingston, Keri Hilson concert.
The maiden edition of the Legends and Legal Ball came off last year and it celebrated and awarded the legendary Charles Kojo Fosu popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
Should this information be confirmed, this will be Knock You Down singer, Keri Hilson’s, born Keri Lynn Hilson first visit and performance in Ghana.
Sean Kingston, born Kisean Anderson on February 3, 1990, on the other hand was billed to headline the State of the Republic Concert alongside Fat Joe in 2008 but failed to make the trip to Ghana.
Sean Kingston, known for several hits including his 2007 single Beautiful Girls, pulled out of that concert at the last minute apparently because his mum advised him against taking a recommended yellow fever jab before coming to Ghana.
A source close to Imajin Advertising, was tight-lipped on the concert during an interview with Myjoyonline.com, only to say there will be a press conference soon on the issue.
