ECOBANK says it is on course to have all TTB branches across the country to be fully branded into Ecobank by May this year. This is part of processes by Ecobank to fully integrate all branches of TTB into Ecobank. It will mean Ecobank will have 77 branches across the country by the start of June.
Executive Director for Domestic Banking at Ecobank, George Mensah-Asante explained that all branches of both banks will be maintained.“The integration is currently on-going, various committees have been set up and we are working together. We believe that by the end of May you will see all TTB branches branded Ecobank.
"We are going to maintain all TTB branches irrespective of how close they are to any existing Ecobank branch. Because the TTB customers will continue to go to their branches whiles the customers will continue to go to their Ecobank branch" he noted.Mr.Mensah-Asante was speaking to Joy Business at the launch of the bank’s new product–called Advance-Account. The product is aimed at assisting individuals to bridge short-term financing gaps ranging from payment of school fees, rent to emergencies among others.
