A day after Jordan Ayew was rewarded by Swansea for his decent form in February, the Ghana international was sent off in a league match at the John Smith's stadium.
Ayew was shown a straight red in the Swans goalless stalemate at Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year old who was making his 30th league appearance and hoping to extend his tally of six goals, lasted only 11 minutes as he was dismissed by referee Michael Oliver after a challenge on Jonathan Hogg when he caught the Huddersfield captain high on the leg with his studs.
The red card is Jordan's second in the premier league with the first coming during his time at Aston Villa.
11 - Jordan Ayew's red card after 11 minutes is the earliest a player has been sent off in the Premier League this season. Impetuous.

Jordan will miss games against Tottenham Hotspur - quarterfinals of the FA Cup - as well as Southampton, to complete the three-match ban.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, Swansea hung on for a hard-earned point which leaves them four points clear of relegation bracket. Jordan's elder brother Andre Ayew lasted 73 minutes.
