Hasaacas Ladies played a good game to beat Cape Coast Ghatel Ladies 2-0 in the Central/Western Region Women's league match played at Robert Mensah stadium at Cape Coast at the week-end.
After the blast of referee Eku Boateng, it was the Ghatel Ladies, led in attack by their play-maker, Mary Baidoo who created a number of scoring chances but their strikers squandered the chances that came their way to end the first half goalless.
On resumption of the second half, Hasaacas Ladies took absolute control of proceedings and scored the opener in the 46th minute through outside left, Pepertual Agyekum, a member of national female team the Black Queens.
Agyekum after collecting a midfield pass sent in a power-laden shot 18 yards away to open the scores for her side.
The visitors continued to dictate the pace of the game and went ahead in the 53rd minute to increase the scores through substitute Agnes Kuofie to seal the doom of the Ghatel Ladies.
From the 55th minute, Ghatel Ladies made frantic efforts to keep the score line respectable and at least get an face-saving goal but try as they did they could not find the net till the final whistle.
