The Management of Star Micro plans to replicate same in other Regional and District capitals like Takoradi, Kumasi, Koforidua, Techiman, Tamale, among others.
Star Microfinance sees these training workshops as its contribution to society and also as a complement of Government's effort to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 1 & 3, which is to ‘Eradicate Extreme Poverty and Hunger’ and ‘Promote Gender Equality and Empowerment”.
Topics for the training workshop include The Changing Scenes of Life and the Need to Prepare for Such Changes; The Impact of Market Women on the Economy, Managing Business as Companies and Entrepreneurship and Customer Relationship Management.
The training workshops have been very much appreciated by the Market Queens and Leaders and they have asked that the various groups under them be given same training.
