The Partnership has raised the stakes in club followership, bringing Old Trafford close to Globacom subscribers, ardent supporters of the English Premier League giants and soccer lovers at large via their mobile phones. The former Danish goalkeeper who was voted the world's best goalkeeper in 1992 and 1993 in an interview with JOY Sports noted that, having a base of youthful talents is the best way of projecting a good future for the development of the local league.“We should inspire the kids who have love for the game to take it up serious and obviously if you have that thought, you improve yourself and work harder and that will in the first instance promote the local game”, said Schmeichel“And if you have the dream of reaching up to the English premier league, you might just improve and all levels”.Clubs in Ghana are preparing intensively to the new Glo premier season which kicks off on October 7.
