The Black Stars will remember late Ghana President John Evans Atta Mills on Saturday when they play Malawi in a 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
CAF, Africa's governing body, has approved the Ghana Football Association's request to honour the late President during the game in Accra.
Black Stars players will wear black armbands during the game as a mark of respect for the late President Mills who died in July.
A Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie confirmed: "We thank CAF for approving the GFA's request to honour President Mills during Saturday's match against Malawi.
"The players will be wearing black armbands in our match."
This is the first time the Black Stars are playing at home since the country's leader died on 24 July.
President Mills was a staunch football follower and was once the chairman of the Black Stars management committee.
