Striker Emmanuel Clottey says he is disappointed for not etching his name in the history books of the CAF Champions league after missing out on the tournament’s goal scoring record.Berekum Chelsea will end their Champions league campaign this weekend without Emmanuel Clottey who completed his move to Tunisian Side Esperance on Wednesday.The 28-year-old who leads the scorer chart with 12 goals from 11 matches was on the verge of equaling or breaking Stephen Worgu’s all time record of 13 goals set in the 2008 edition of the CAF Champions league.“I’m a bit disappointed and I don’t know why it happened like that because I would have loved to be the first Ghanaian to record that feat”. Clottey told JOY Sports“This is not the end, I have a lot of years ahead and may be who knows, equaling that record will be possible some time to come”.Chelsea will play Congolese side TP Mazembe in their CAF Champions league final group game on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium.
