Made-In-Ghana (MiG) Ambassador, Emelia Arthur, has urged the youth to enter into agriculture since it has the tendency of ensuring their success.
Ms. Arthur stressed that, it is very shameful for Ghana with fertile lands to import products such as tomatoes, onion, pepper, cabbage, carrots, etc. for consumption.
The musician made the appeal when she visited Hope Generations Ministry International Church in Accra following her MIG campaign tour towards the need to patronize made in Ghana goods.
The tour is targeted at 50 churches in the country to sensitize them on the need to patronize made in Ghana goods.
"People always find it difficult to buy products from the market because of the high cost but if there is abundance of raw materials, there will be mass production therefore the prices will be less,” she explained.
Ms. Arthur entreated producers to produce quality products and package them well to attract consumers. She called on the government to assist the youth to make this dream come to pass.
