Black Satellites Coach Maxwell Konadu says he is more confident his side will reach the 2013 African Youth Championship after thrashing Morocco 4-1 at the Tamale stadium on Sunday.Seeking to reach a third straight African championship as part of plans to reclaim the title Ghana won in Rwanda 2009, the Satellites made a bright start to Sunday’s game scoring three quick goals in 30 minutes in the first and second half before the fourth on the 90th minute.Frank Sarfo Gyamfi scored first from a Moses Odjer assist before Captain Lawrence Lartey headed home from a Derrick Mensah corner. Frank Acheampong then scored twice to seal the win but the Moroccans got a consolation ahead of the return leg in two weeks time.“We have learnt a lot from this game, the return leg is not going to be easy but I’m confident we will make it to the finals in Algeria”. Said Coach Konadu“We have to work harder and try not to be complacent and go all out. The boys are committed and are ready to fight for Ghana”.Morocco will need to score three unanswered goals to progress at Ghana’s expense in the return leg in Rabat.
