Galatasaray president Unal Aysal has revealed that Kaka could join the club in January if they progress from the UEFA Champions League group stages.
The 30-year-old playmaker has fallen out of favour at Real Madrid and has yet to feature for Jose Mourinho's side this season.
AC Milan were keen to bring Kaka back to the San Siro during the recent transfer window, but Real's asking price coupled with the Brazilian's high wages scuppered any potential deal.
Cimbom had also expressed an interest in the midfielder and could still make a renewed attempt to secure his prized signature when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
However, any move will depend on whether the Istanbul giants advance to the knockout phase of Europe's elite club competition.
"If we qualify for the next round of the Champions League we will try to put the icing on the cake," Aysal told Turkish TV station NTV.
"Kaka could join us, although I cannot guarantee it. He would fit in well with the team. I would like to see him in a Galatasaray jersey."
