Assistant coach of Berekum Chelsea says the absence of strikers Eric Bekoe and Saddick Adams in their opening group game of the Ghana premier league was as a result of their inability to secure the players international transfer certificate.
Chelsea began their premier league campaign on a high after beating Heart of Lions 2-0 at the Berekum golden city park in Berekum on Sunday.
Eric Bekoe returned from Petrojet with Saddick Adams coming from Etoile Du Sahel to join Chelsea for this season’s premier league.
“The problem with this professionals anytime they come back to play in the local league is their international transfer certificate (ITC)”,said coach Anor Warlker
“As at last week their ICT’s were not in so that was the reason why we couldn’t use them in our game against Lions but we hope to get them by the close of this week so they can play in our next league game”.
Berekum Chelsea will travel away to the Dormaa Park where they will take on Aduana Stars in their next premier league game.
