It promises to be another great weekend as the Glo Premier League action begins with Ebusua Dwarfs facing Hearts of Oak and concludes with seven other matches on Sunday.
Certainly, the early weeks of the season has been close with Medeama leading at the top and New Edubiase sitting bottom with eight teams waiting for a first victory.
But on Saturday, the first action rolls out at the Tema Stadium where the fear that appears to have engulfed the league following Hearts of Oak's thumping win in the seven-goal thriller last weekend will be tested on match-day-3.
Hearts of Oak will be looking to build on their impressive 5-2 win over Edubiase as they continue Premier League action against Dwarfs.
C.K. Akonnor's side looked much more of a fluent attacking unit in their previous match but Dwarfs, sitting 13th on the standings, with just a point from a possible six will be eager to pick their first win of the campaign against Hearts.
The bulk of the fixtures comes off on Sunday with seven matches lined up.
Defending champions Asante Kotoko remain unbeaten in the league but with just two points from a possible six, the Porcupine Warriors have been far from convincing, as they clash with Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The game will be new coach, Mas-ud Didi Dramani's debut as a premiership coach but he will come up against Castro Boateng, who was an assistant in Kotoko's title winning side last season.
It is a clash that both coaches have something to prove with Dramani making his debut and Boateng eager to deliver a message to his former employers.
The first derby of the season is the clash in Berekum where Chelsea and Arsenals clash at the Golden City Park.
Table toppers, Medeama travel to the Wa Park to face All Stars while Liberty Professionals play AshantiGold at the Carl Reindorf Park.
Real Tamale United will be home to Aduana Stars at the Tamale Stadium and King Faisal will attempt to burst the bubble of Amidaus Professionals at the Tema Stadium.
Bottom side, Edubiase will round up a busy fixture list in their meeting with Tema Youth at the Gyamfi Park in Bekwai.
