Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has accepted an apology offered by Andre Ayew following incidents of misconduct by the player during a national team match.Ayew's reaction after he was substituted during the final round qualifying for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations against Malawi in Lilongwe on Octber 13 was deemed inappropriate.But in his official statement accepting the player's apology, Appiah also cautioned other members of the team that acts of indiscipline will not be tolerated going forward."I have received the letter of apology sent by Black Stars midfielder Andre Ayew," Appiah said his statement to www.ghanafa.org.The coach also confirmed that he has tasked the player to render a similar apology to the rest of the technical team and his colleagues."I wish to state clearly that I requested Andre Ayew to apologise to the technical team and his team-mates over his reaction when he was substituted during the match against Malawi."We tried to resolve the matter internally after the game at a meeting but it yielded no results which resulted in my ultimatum."I have accepted Andre Ayew's apology in good faith."I wish to remind all players of the Black Stars that any act of indiscipline will not be tolerated as we focus on preparing for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations."
