The Asawase suburb of Kumasi has recorded a second shooting incident this week.
A yet-to-be-identified man has been shot and killed by unknown assailants.
Eyewitnesses stated that two men were riding on a motorbike and opened fire on the victim, who was entering his pickup truck after eating at a food joint.

The armed men shot the victim twice, killing him instantly. However, it is unclear if the incident is linked to the earlier killing of a chief at Asawase.
On Tuesday, the middle-aged man was fatally shot by two unidentified assailants, each riding on a motorbike.
A police press statement indicated that they "approached their victim and opened fire at close range before fleeing the scene."
