AB Review - Ghana’s premier hub for education research and career solutions, has received support from Interpay Africa , an electronic payment company to host the first ever National Schools and Career Fair dubbed “I Too Can”.
The two–day schools and career fair is slated for Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of March, 2015 at the Auditorium of the National Accreditation Board (on the Trinity – IPS road, Legon).
Abel Ohene Acquaye, Executive Director of AB Review, disclosed that the support from Interpay will make the fair one of the biggest in the country.
This educational fair is unique on all fronts, he added.
The event affords students and parents the opportunity to explore prospective careers, interact with professionals from various disciplines, as well as discover a host of top tier international schools and tertiary institutions in the country.
At the Career Fair, students will explore their career cluster of interest after interactions with career and guidance counsellors and interview career resource persons from various disciplines to find out what they do, what skills they need and how best to prepare for their prospective careers.
Graduates and Job seekers will also have on the spot job and internship opportunities while they go through CV workshops and mock job interviews.
As part of the fair, a one hour workshop for Finance officers of Educational and Professional Institutions will be held to discuss modern ways of efficiently collecting fees with instant and flexible reporting that aids decision making.
Participating Schools include Webster University, Lancaster University, Radford University College, Knutsford University College, Morgan International Community School, Penfield College, Presec – Legon among others.
The event is open to high schools, tertiary institutions, parents and job seekers.
