Ghana midfielder Abdul Rashid Fuseini scored against his former club to help ND Bilje secure a 1-1 draw with Tabor Sezana on Friday, October 10, 2025, in the Slovenian second tier.
The 21-year-old former Ghana youth international opened the scoring in the 50th minute, cutting in from the left flank before unleashing a fine strike past the goalkeeper — a goal that carried extra meaning against his old side.
Fuseini was substituted in the 72nd minute, and nine minutes later, Dino Stancic netted the equaliser for Tabor Sezana to deny ND Bilje all three points.
The goal was Fuseini’s second of the season since joining ND Bilje from Tabor in the summer.
The young midfielder’s career has been an eventful journey.
He had trials with several top European clubs, including Manchester United, Wolves, Sheffield United, and Brentford, but could not secure a contract due to age restrictions.
Fuseini began his professional career with Serbian outfit Backa Topola before moving to Slovenia in 2023 to join Tabor Sezana, where he spent two seasons before his summer switch to Bilje.
