Deputy Chief of Staff in the incoming Akufo-Addo-led administration, Abu Jinapor says he is grateful to the president-elect for appointing him to the covetous position.
Mr Jinapor shortly after his appointment, said he feels a great sense of responsibility and duty to him, his incoming government and our beloved motherland.
“I am exceedingly grateful to the president-elect for this extraordinary confidence reposed in me by appointing me as a Deputy Chief of Staff of his Government,” he said.
Mr Jinapor thanked everyone who supported him until date and added that “to those who have expressed reservation, anxiety or even disapproving of my appointment, I respect you views and take it as a challenge.
“I know you all honestly and passionately wish success for our president. This, I reason, may be your source of apprehension. But I promise solemnly not to let the President down.”
He pledged to give his very best at his new role.
