The fire service in the Ashanti region continues to battle pockets of fire on the third day of the major fire outbreak at the Blue Light Arena in Adum, Kumasi.
Friday's fire disaster has attracted several government officials to commiserate with traders who have lost goods running into millions of cedis.
The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Naa Momo Lartey, in the company of MASLOC CEO, Abigail Elorm Mensah and Ashanti regional minister, visited the fire scene on Sunday.
Address the media, Naa Momo Lartey said there are plans to come to the aid of the traders.

"Many people are affected, especially women, which I know many homes have been broken, so on that we are putting things together and come in their aid, not necessarily reinstate them but to get start up money to rebuild," she said.
She urged those who are taking advantage of stealing others' properties to desist from the practice and also cautioned against fueling propaganda on the incident.
"This is not the right time to push any agenda; it's only insensitive people who will do that, let's all find lasting solution to the situation than selling out fake news that we are going to redevelop the market for NDC members," she advised.
According to her, the structural integrity of the affected buildings will need to be addressed.
"Even without technical knowledge, you testify that this building is not good for trading it will be redeveloped, so if you have a passionate regional minister leading it, you shouldn't be afraid," she said.
The acting CEO of MASLOC, Abigail Elorm Mensah, said the government is not going to leave the traders behind in this crisis.

"We are going to support them to redevelop again, all the affected traders, both men and women, we are with you throughout," she said.
A devastating fire destroyed three story buildings last Friday at Adum blue light arena.
The traders are still counting their losses, but the fire is not fully under control.
Security and fire personnel remain on site to douse the flames.
