13 DR Congo midfielder fires one great shot from 20 yards which takes an awkward bounce in front of goal keeper Ovono but the keeper calmly deals with the rare threat.
8' Comedy of errors in attack for the host as they fail to connect many great chances. Two corners in quick succession but Nsue totally miscues and Kidiaba makes a brave save to keep E Guinea in contention.
4' Desperate defending for DR Congo as defender heads away an incisive cross. Kidiaba tries to parry away but has his hands flapping in the air. Equatorial Guinea fail to make it count.

Host nation Equatorial Guinea after an embarrassing display against Ghana have an image redeeming enterprise against DR Congo in a third place play off at the AFCON 2015. It a near empty stadium even though Caf did not sanction a more punitive measure for the third place match to be played behind closed doors. The supporters appear to be more hungry for gold than settle for bronze. For DR Congo a consolation will not be a bad idea.
