Ghanaian gospel songstress Afia Ayiwah has welcomed the new year with the release of a new single titled “Nyame Ye”, marking her first song for 2026.
Afia Ayiwah, a signee of Media Excel Productions and the hitmaker behind “Testify”, released the song on Thursday, January 8, 2026, as a message centred on the goodness of God.
“Nyame Ye”, which translates to “God is Good” in Akan, is a celebration of God’s faithfulness. The track opens with a blend of traditional African rhythms and contemporary beats, a sound that has become a signature of Afia Ayiwah’s style. Drawing on her Ghanaian roots, she infuses the song with an energetic and uplifting feel.
