Ex-WBC Super Featherweight champion Azumah Nelson has backed Joseph Agbeko to defeat Cuban boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux in a world title fight this weekend in New Jersey, USA.
Three-time world champion Agbeko and two-time world champion Rigondeaux slug it out in a WBO, WBA Super Bantamweight unification bout at the Broadwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Agbeko returns to the ring after an unimpressive win over Colombian Luiz Melendez in Accra last year after struggles to land a fight on the big stage since.
"Abgeko is a good boxer. If he loses this fight then he didn't train well," Azumah told Asempa FM Sports.
"Boxing is all about training. If Agbeko prepares well, he will win.
"Agbeko must used his head to win."
