Ghana striker Matthew Amoah scored and was named man-of-match as NAC Breda deepened ADO Den Haag's relegation worries with a comfortable 3-0 victory in the Friday's Eredivisie clash.
Anthony Lurling put the hosts ahead shortly after the half-hour mark and Kees Kwakman and Matthew Amoah sealed victory with goals in the last 10 minutes.
The defeat left ADO third from bottom of the table, level on points with fourth-bottom Vitesse Arnhem but having played a game more.
NAC came into the game on the back of consecutive 3-0 defeats and might have gone behind after just 10 minutes, Ricky van den Bergh drilling a shot from 25 yards narrowly wide of the right post.
Instead it was the hosts who took the lead in the 34th minute.
Amoah sprayed the ball out to the left to Lurling who advanced into the area and powered a left-footed shot into the far top corner.
Ghana striker Amoah was looking lively and almost doubled his side's lead in the 60th minute when a throw-in from Csaba Feher put him one on one with goalkeeper Robert Zwinkels, but his shot came back off the right post.
NAC did grab a second 10 minutes from time and again Amoah was involved.
He headed down Tim Gilissen's right-wing cross for Kwakman to send a left-footed shot low into the far corner.
And Amoah got the goal his performance deserved to put the result beyond doubt three minutes from time.
Lurling charged down Zwinkels' attempted clearance and the loose ball fell to the unmarked Amoah, who slid it easily into the net.
