A U.S woman aggrieved by the conduct of Anita De-Soso has claimed she has caused the banning of the NDC Women's Organiser from ever entering the United States.
The Women’s Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Anita De-Soso was barred from boarding a Delta Airlines flight bound for New York (NY) at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra on Monday 4 August.
She was stopped by airport security who told her she could not join the Delta Airline flight despite sucessfully going through routine checks and procedures.
Adomonline.com also reported NDC national executive member was denied visa on Wednesday August 6th, 2014 by the US Embassy.
Anita De-Soso has declined to confirm or deny the report when contacted on Adom FM's 'Dwaso Nsem' Wednesday.
“The case is now in the hands of God but at the appropriate time I will react” she added.
Myjoyonline.com can report that it is a result of a brawl between Anita De-Soso and a United States of America (USA) nurse and philanthropist Michelle McGowan who came to Ghana to raise funds to purchase medication for some children suffering from some skin disease that affected children, as known as the ‘Alligator Children’.
Ms. McGowan took advantage of the plight of the children to raise funds but failed to account for the money. The children have not received any support intended for them.
Anita De-soso together with the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oyi Lithur got the lady arrested for child trafficking and subsequently repatriated back to her home country.
In a purported recording of the NDC Woman’s Organizer produced by Ms McGowan, she [Anita] was heard threatening that ‘…if she dare not call her (Anita) she would be looked for everywhere and dealt with for trying to spoil the name of the President (Mahama)’.

The American woman according to Adom FM's Kojo Preko, reported the matter to the U.S State Department. McGowan has claimed she caused Anita to be put on a no-fly list after filing a report.
"She [Anita] was supposed to attend to a UN meeeting in NY. It was too late for them to stop her, she had already entered."
She told Adom FM's Kojo Preko the US "promised me, she would never be allowed to come back. International threats are very serious. She will be looked upon as a terrorist".
On Anita's next trip to the U.S, the purported ban was activated. She was prevented from boarding the flight.
The US Embassy has however maintained that the Deputy Coordinator for National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) was not on any ban.
